Whether crafting spaces from scratch or using one of over 900 presets, it’s never been easier to create natural, authentic depth for your music. Since R2 and PhoenixVerb were reviewed in SOS March 2014, Exponential have been building on them to create another, more versatile pair of algorithmic reverbs. By introducing filter slope and frequency controls for the reverb signal’s attack, early MV2 is ok and I do use it.

Analysis DF - Assassin's Creed Valhalla: PS5 vs Xbox Series X/ Series S Next-Gen Comparison! PhoenixVerb and R2 are both native, algorithmic designs that are available in all major plug-in formats on Mac OS and Windows, including the 64-bit AAX format used by Pro Tools 11. Relab just began allowing software authorization, but Exponential Audio still requires iLok 2/3. I don't *remember* there being anything lacking in Space Designer vs Altiverb.

I haven't used Altiverb in probably 10 years or so though. About convolution vs algorithm, it is just different. Valhalla Vintage has everything a typical Lexicon would, rooms, halls, plates, etc. You're Your thoughts? Die Software-Schmiede iZotope übernimmt ab sofort die Firma Exponential Audio.

Algorithms tend to be more tweakable whereas with convolution you get a snapshot of a reverb at a particular setting, minimally tweakable. I'm wondering, because I compose orchestral/cinematic music, where reverb is key. Don't ignore algorithmic reverbs either- especially things like Izotope (ex-Exponential) Phoenixverb, Numbus, R2 or R4. Thanks for the tip, I reckon I'm fairly reserved and controlled about reverb.
